When does school start?
The first bell rings at 7:50 a.m. We strongly encourage students to be prompt, which helps with the classroom’s efficiency. A tardy bell will ring at 7:55 a.m.

Is there a lunch program?
Yes, Highland Primary does offer lunch options for students. Please refer to our district Food Services page for more information.

What do I do if I need to pick up my child during school?
When a parent/guardian needs to pick up a student during school hours, office personnel will either call the student to the office using the intercom or will issue the parent/guardian a visitor’s pass indicating that the parent has been cleared through the office and has permission to be on campus.

My child needs to take certain medications during the day. Is there a protocol for this?
All medications must come to the health technician in the prescription bottle and be brought to school by an adult. Please provide a written order from a physician along with a parent signature.

Is there a bus system at Highland Primary?
